This is a beautiful place to take a break from a long drive. It is very close to the I-5 freeway. There is plenty of parking on the streets surrounding the park. There are public restrooms and wide sidewalks for stretching one’s legs. The rose garden is at its peak the first week of April.

The rose garden at Victory Park is awesome tons of different rose varieties and other beautiful flowers everywhere. Perfect spot for photos or just a nice walk through the park. It’s also right on the way to the Haggin Museum, so you can easily make a little outing out of it. Totally recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

I just walk around the park like so many others do. I have taken my grand daughter to play & feed the ducks a few times as well. They have recently updated the playground, i think, i know they re did the basketball courts & pool. Ive also been to birthday parties at this park and to concert on the lawn. The museum is in the park. The rose garden is in the park. Theres baseball diamonds in the park, a very nice fire station. They use to & still might host childrens day at this park. The police also do trunk or treat at this park. And i believe the museum hosts events occasionally as well. Theres also a pond that runs through two sides of the park that always has ducks in it. They have new restrooms as well & a somewhat new sculpture where the totem pole once was. There are also nice wooden lost and found boxes located around the park that must be fairly new.

This place and park in general is beautiful. I took my daughter's senior pictures at the Rose Garden. I just wish people would pick up after themselves. It was a few days after Easter and there was some debris under the bushes from an egg hunt. Gave 4 stars only because...well it's still Stockton so there's always a chance you could get robbed after you enjoy the lovely scenery!
